Does property investment work?

I have came across many property investments stories/articles talking about their success and that now they are teaching people how do it. Does this really work? if it works, why are they teaching people how to do rather than keep these to themselves and continue what they are good in? is it a scam? anybody can advise?

Been to those talks. They are not the expert. They just know a bit of knowledge, and sell you those knowledge but with no guarantee. Even those with guarantee, please listen carefully what are their guarantee. Heard before one absurd guarantee, which is 6 month if no 1 sales, they guarantee your startup capital, BUT, not guarantee your course fee that amount to few thousands. And who the hell need guarantee for 1 sales in 6 month times? They can easily make the purchase themself. This i would say, totally scam.
